Obituary of Thomas D Leavines II

LEAVINES II, Thomas D., 89, of Tampa passed away July 4, 2006. He was born October 13, 1916 in Mobile AL and moved to Florida in 1953. He was a Staff Sergeant in the US Air Force working as a parachute rigger & repairman also as an airplane inspector until his retirement in 1966. He was a Veteran of WW II and the Korean Conflict. Thomas is survived by his wife, Aline, of 61 years; sons- Charles (Susie), Tommy, James (Debbie), Robert (Darlene), John (Annie), Paul all from the Tampa area, daughters- Shirley (Mario) Arroyo of Shady Hills and Sharon Leavines of Tampa; 7 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and other loved ones. Services will be held July 7, 2006, 10:00 AM at Florida Mortuary; 4601 Nebraska Avenue, Tampa, Florida; Military Honors burial will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
