Obituary of Tammy Verdadero

Tammy Jo Wimberly Verdedaro, age 43 of Wesley Chapel, Florida passed
away on April 5, 2019.
Tammy was born in Jacksonville, Florida on June 21, 1975, the daughter
of Judy Gale Wimberly, adopted father Terry Stephen Wimberly, and her
biological father Thomas Daniel Polston.
Tammy attended Trinity Christian Academy and graduated in 1993 and
began working at Jax Navy Federal Credit Union as a teller. In February of
1995 she married Clyde Anthony Warden Jr. and through their marriage
had a beautiful daughter, Mackenzie Lynn Warden on October 8, 1998.
She then began employment at KB Homes in the early 2000’s. During her
time of employment at KB Homes she met Ricky Kimo Verdadero Jr. and
married him on March 19, 2004. As a result of her marriage to Rick she
gained a daughter Saige Mekel Verdadero, and then they had a son
together, Kole Kimo Verdadero, born July 27, 2004.
In 2013 they relocated to Wesley Chapel, Florida and Tammy began
working for Ryman Construction Company. She was employed for several
years by Ryman and then most recently was employed by Service Works
Commercial Roofing. She was also a member of Alethia Church in Tampa,
Florida, and supported Compassion International.
Tammy was an amazing daughter, wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and
friend to all she met. She was an adventurous, feisty, fun loving, and caring
young lady, with a very infectious smile! Tammy lived for her children and
to be present at all of their extra -curricular activities and to cheer them on
to victory. She leaves behind a wonderful legacy and a great example for
all of us to follow as she fought a very difficult battle the last few years of
her life, but did not allow that battle to keep her down, but rather she
always rose above every occasion even until her final days.
Tammy is survived by her husband Rick of 15 years, her daughter
Mackenzie Lynn Warden, her son Kole Kimo Verdadero, her step-daughter
Saige Mekel Verdadero, her parents Terry and Judy Wimberly of
Cedartown Georgia, Danny Polston of Jacksonville, Florida, her brothers
Gary Wimberly (Melodie) of Millville, New Jersey, and Lee Wimberly
(Melissa) of Carrollton, Georgia, and many nieces and nephews. She is
preceded in death by her grandparents, and her oldest brother, James
Daniel Polston.
