Geoffrey Clark

Obituary of Geoffrey Charles Clark

Geoffrey Charles Clark, age 51, principal owner of Thompson and Bender Property Inspections, and resident of Saint Petersburg, FL, died after a brief but fierce fight against esophageal cancer.  He passed peacefully in the hospital while surrounded by his family on the morning of July 25th.

Geoff is survived by his wife Kimberly Beal, his children, Trinity Faye (14) and Flora Ann (12), his parents, and his brother, Darrell Clark.

Geoff was born in Lowell, MA, on October 19, 1967 to Lois and Charles Clark. He was fluent in Russian, attended UCF and then worked at UPS for 14 years. He graduated from USF in 2003 with a degree in Accounting.  He worked for Lincare as Accounting Manager and then Fleet manager then chose to begin home inspections.  He acquired Thompson and Bender Property Inspections

In 2003, he was introduced to his wife, Kim, on a blind date.  They married June 11, 2004.  On Jan 25, 2010, and Aug 18, 2010 respectively, he welcomed his two beautiful daughters, who were the most important part of his life.

Geoff was a devoted father and husband.  He enjoyed going to the gym, cooking, boating, reading his favorite sci-fi and anything on the History Channel.  Especially when facing the end of his life, he touched those around him, and was full of courage and grace.  He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him.

His life and unanticipated passing has reminded us to live life to the fullest every day, courageously share what is in our hearts, hold our loved ones close, and share the gold that we see in others (and God would be pleased).
