Obituary of Emma Mata

Our Dear Emma Mata has peacefully gone home to be with the Lord on January 5th, 2021. Emma Mata was born on February 7th, 1926 to Elvira Alvarez and Mario Talavera in Ybor City in Tampa, Florida. She had a love for the Ybor City area where she spent most of her life. She was a loving Christian, Mother, and Grandmother who spent her time praying for everyone she knew daily. She knew how to light up a room with her warm, infectious smile.  She is survived by her daughter Yolanda Leon, two sons, Angel Rodriguez and Elio Cerezo Jr, her 12 grandchildren, and 38 great- grandchildren. She will be missed by all of her family and loved ones very dearly.
