Obituary of James Antonio Morrison Sr.

James Antonio Morrison, Sr., age 66, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 30, 2024.  He was born on January 22, 1958 in Fayettville, North Carolina.  James honorably served his country as part of the United States Army and Also for the United States Air Force.  He worked his entire life as a car salesman. James had lived in Des Moines, Iowa, where he met his wife Cheryl Watkins. He lived a freestyle life, was a happy person with a heart of gold!  James was loved by all who knew him.

He is survived by his parents, Nathaniel and Emma Allen; two sons,, James A. Morrison, Jr. and Joshua Watkins; one brother, Gary Allen; one sister, Felicia Granel and two granddaughters, Cheryl Rae and Diamone.  James was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cheryl.

Per the family's request, cremation has taken place.  There are no services planned at this time.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Florida Mortuary and Cremation Services, Tampa, Florida.
